Japanese Arita pair of Imari Oil and Soy jugs, dating circa 1700

For sale this very rare pair of Japanese Imari Oil and Soy jugs, circa 1700. Both jugs are in remarkable condition, the Soy jug with a firing flaw at the base of the handle with a related hairline to the other side. No restoration chips nor cracks. A little wear as expected. The Soy jug approx. 10.4cm tall and 8.4cm diameter, the Oil jug approx. 10.8cm tall and 8.8cm diameter. The handles pierced for metal mounts. Decorated iron red and gold with a floral design, the Soy and Oil symbol within a gilt circle.
