North British Railway pocket watch by Elgin reference number N.B.R. 485, dating pre-1920. This is a rare railway-issue pocket watch supplied by Elgin and fully signed throughout. The dial shows just one very faint stress line only,. and a related edge chip as shown in the pics. Fitted with its original bevelled glass and deep-blued handset. Matching case numbers throughout. The case back still retains a good set of markings, but there is wear as expected with tool watch use. Fully signed movement in full working order, keeping time. A large heavy watch with a diameter of 59mm diameter excluding stem tube and crown and approx. 2cm deep. A rare example.  Price £695.00 including shipping to within the UK.
