Japanese Arita blue and white Jug dating late 17^th early 18^th century. The main bulbous body decorated on either side with two birds on flowering branches, one below the other. The strap handle with expansion hole for firing. The jug in in excellent unrestored condition showing a fine hairline crack to the strap handle expansion hole, and very slight glaze wear to the neck rim as shown in the pics. Size 21.7cm tall and approx. 105cm diameter excluding the strap handle. Price £1295.00 inclusive of shipping to within the UK
