Hirado Japanese model of a recumbent Bull, Meiji period

For sale this fine Japanese Hirado model of a recumbent Bull, late 19th century. Approx 9.5cm long and 5 cm tall it is a good study with fine details, the eyes left unglazed. The body of ivory tones. No damage or restoration but some glaze shrinkage and glaze cracking, one or two now lightly stained.Stand not included in sale. The watch hand and cog are for picture focus only. Price £225.00
