For sale a fine earlyJapanese Kakiemon style carved blue and white dish, circa 1670. A central blue and white star shaped panel with a bird on a rocky outcrop, Prunus and Bamboo. The petal shaped slightly everted lobbed rim dressed in brown. Well carved peach shaped panels of fans and scrolls all under a very pale almost celadon graze. The base with potters shattering marks. Diameter 21.5cm and 2.5cm tall. Excellent undamaged condition. Price £325.00
