Chinese Kangxi period, Verte Imari small shallow dish decorated with four scholars around a central floral roundel. All picked out in famille verte, blue, red, and gold, within a boarder of underglaze blue. Quite a rare pattern on this one. The underside with just one red floral scroll. Circa 1700. Size 14.7cm diameter by 3cm tall. Condition Some rim fritting and small chips consistent with this type of ware and three short hairlines from rim. Price £95.00 inclusive of shipping to within the UK.
