For sale this exceptionally fine Royal Doulton Art Deco Fish Vase by Vera Huggins, dating circa 1935. I have been unable to find another so most probably one of Vera Huggins single production items. Fully signed to the base and in excellent undamaged condition. The vase deeply carved lines to imitate ripples waves and bottom weed. The Fish moulded in high relief, each fish of a varied species. Covered overall in a pale green to celadon green glaze turning more blue, brown towards the base imitating a depth of water.A fabulous example of an unusual subject matter very well executed.
