Grainger & Co Royal Worcester Porcelain Soup Dish dating to 1900
For sale is a fine Grainger & Co Royal Worcester porcelain soup dish, dated 1900. The rim is beautifully decorated in deep royal blue, featuring large panels of exotic birds and smaller panels of butterflies and insects, all finely detailed with gilded scrollwork. The well displays three delicately painted insects, including a butterfly.
The reverse bears the Grainger & Co gold shield mark along with the date letter “J”, confirming production in 1900. The dish is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration.
A beautiful and highly collectible piece, perfect for any serious porcelain collection.
