A fine Spode “Common Wolf Trap” plate from the Indian Sporting Series, dating to circa 1830. This example is in bright, undamaged, and unrestored condition. The rim shows only light age-related wear to the glaze, while the reverse displays the standard glaze crazing typical of wares from this period. Fully signed to the back, including the maker’s mark “B,” and retaining old collector’s labels.
