This is an exceptionally fine example of a largest Spode Meat Platter, dating from the early part of the 19th century. The dish is in fantastic original and unrestored condition, probably never used, it retains its bright vivid blue colour. Spode impressed mark to base. Size 52.5 long and 9cm max deep, 41cm wide.
