For sale is this rare Zenith WW1 Royal Flying Corps cockpit watch, circa 1916. 30-hour non-luminous. dial in black No CB 419. Fully signed Zenith to case back and movement, with the case having matching numbers throughout. Long crown stem with bow for mounting to the cockpit dash. The watch is in unrestored condition with a good dial that shows only slight hand marking around the sub-seconds center. pivot. The watch is in working order holding time. Diameter excluding crown and bow 52mm. There is a complete passage on these types of cockpit clocks in British Military Timepieces by Konrad Knirim, pages 390 to 406. Price £695.00
