Vixa Type 20 French Air Force pilots chronograph, dated 1954

For sale is this magnificentVixa Type 20 French Air Force military issued pilots chronograph, dated 1954. Only 4 to 5000 of the Vixa version Type 20 were issued to the French Air Force pilots and although signed Vixa and supplied by Vixa to the military, the watch case and movement are by the fine German manufacturer Hanhart. Original and unrestored throughout this one on offer has had an illustrious career running at least 26 years and would have served in all major French conflicts including Vietnam, Algeria, North Africa and probably Chad, to name but a few. The chronograph has just come back from a major overhaul by a leading German Hanhart specialist is now running as it would have when first issued. It is just fantastic, not cheap but the best never is. Price £4950.00
