Omega Royal Fleet Air Arm Issued HS8 Pilot's Watch Ref. H.S./I\8 6452 – Original 1943 Military Watch

Exceptional Original WWII Omega Royal Fleet Air Arm HS8 Pilot's Watch – Fully Matching Numbers – Ref. H.S./I/8 6452 – Circa 1943

An outstanding and increasingly scarce Omega Royal Fleet Air Arm HS8 pilot's watch, officially issued to the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm during the Second World War and dating to circa 1943.

This highly desirable military timepiece is an exceptional, completely original, and unrestored example, retaining matching issue numbers throughout, all corresponding to the original Stores Issue Number 6452. Watches of this calibre are seldom encountered, particularly those that have survived with all of their original case components intact.

The watch retains a substantial portion of its original military case plating, an excellent original black dial with beautifully aged luminous markers, and its original deep blued steel hands. The fully signed Omega Ref. 2292 case and matching Omega movement confirm production in 1943, making this an outstanding collector's piece for enthusiasts of WWII military watches and historic Omega timepieces.

Measuring 33.5mm excluding the crown with a 40mm lug-to-lug length, the watch wears noticeably larger on the wrist thanks to its slim bezel and expansive dial, offering excellent presence while remaining true to its original military proportions.

A superb opportunity to acquire an authentic WWII Omega military watch, ideal for collectors of Omega vintage watches, Fleet Air Arm memorabilia, Royal Navy military timepieces, British military watches, and investment-grade horology.
