Lemania Ministry of Aviation Single-Button Chronograph – M.O.A. 6B/551, Issue 212 (Circa 1963–1964)
An exceptionally rare Lemania Ministry of Aviation pilot’s chronograph, reference M.O.A. 6B/551, Issue 212, dating to approximately 1963–1964.
Produced to strict RAF military specifications, this highly sought-after single-button chronograph was issued primarily to Royal Air Force test pilots and examining officers responsible for pilot training and instrument testing. Manufactured for a limited period between 1959 and 1967, this particular sub-variant is believed to be one of only a handful of surviving examples known today.
There is also a possible historical association with the MOD Aldermaston weapons testing facility, further enhancing its significance within British military aviation history.
This example is fully marked, entirely original, and presents as an authentic collector-grade piece. The watch has been professionally serviced and is in full working order.
A rare opportunity to acquire an exceptionally scarce and historically important RAF military chronograph — ideal for the advanced collector of military timepieces.
